The
Courthouse Dispatcher is a wireless emergency call system
that interfaces with the sheriff or police department's existing radio system
to provide quick response time to courthouse emergencies.
Wireless panic buttons are located anywhere in the court
facility such as courtrooms, judge's chambers, clerk's offices,
juvenile detention, tax offices, and other areas subject
to public outbreaks. Each panic button has a user prerecorded
message that is broadcast over the radio so that any deputy
or security officer with a radio will hear and can respond to the message. An
example of a message is 'Deputy needed in circuit courtroom'.
